Construction Features:

• The Horizontal Constant Support can be designed for higher loadings or travels than are covered by the standard range.
• Can be designed for hydrostatic tests more than twice the operating load.
• Supports can be supplied with a special paint finish or manufactured from corrosion-resistant materials.

Constant Effort Spring Support:

• When variable effort support may not be appropriate for the following reasons, constant effort support is chosen.
  • For variable effort support, the vertical movement is too great (about > 75mm).
  • A minimal adjustment in load is permitted (e.g., close to sensitive equipment)
  • Variable effort supports cannot be used because of spatial restrictions.

Standard Design Features:

• The typical CPA range Constant effort supports have a typical range of travels between 40mm and 610mm in 10mm increments and are designed to sustain loads between 8kg and 33500kg.
• Manufacturing constant effort supports allow for a maximum variance of 5% of the stated load.
